Buongiorno!
Sono un terapista occupazionale
Hi Victoria,
both options are possible. You can say both "sono medico" and "sono un medico". ๐

Ciao!
I've read that if we say "Sono + (occupation)", we don't need to use the indefinite article. However, here you have all examples with "un". Now I am confused๐
Hi Lisa Alford,
thank you for reporting the mistakes in the transcription. We will have them fixed as soon as possible!
Sincerely,
Valentina

The transcript with replacing the occupations does not match the audio. Also Che cosa fai is used instead of the audio which states Che lavora fai. Anyway to change this to make it match the audio?
Hi Thiciane Araรบjo,
that's great! Remember that it should be "straniere" with a final "e", since "lingue" is feminine plural. ๐

Ciao Ken,
Thank you for posting!
Che bel lavoro!
"Sono" can be both the first person singular, meaning "I am," and the third person plural, meaning "they are."
In this case "sono" refers to "ore", which is the plural of "ora."
I hope this helps!

My question is about the word "Sono" which means "I am" however I also see it in sentences such as "Che ore sono?" (What time is it?) Can you explain the various uses of "Sono"?

what does "radiology"translated to Italian?
Hi Mahsa,
You can say "Sono uno studente di *name of your field*".
If it was "Medicine", it would be "Sono uno studente di Medicina" or simply "Studio Medicina" ("I study Medicine").
Grazie!
